Ashlin and her mother arrived for her tasting with ideas for design and knowing they wanted an interesting taste profile for her wedding cake. The final verdict…TWO flavors! Apple Spice and sour cream pound cake, both with our signature white chocolate buttercream. The rustic- elegant design featured hand made chocolate twigs, ridged buttercream application, and a gorgeous custom made monogram topper. The cake base was a section of tree with bark intact surrounded by a twig nest. The ceremony site featured one of a kind handmade life- size branch, twig, and moss covered décor. The fabulous outdoor rustic-chic setting was beyond beautiful as was Ashlin.

we wanted to visit the site. The first being we encountered was Jesus ( the Spanish pronunciation,Hay-soos)—a sassy sassy burro. Definitely a crowd favorite at the wedding. One of our photos show him with his wedding hat on. He would turn away from the crowd to express his attitude at being photographed too many times ! We sampled cake in their lovely home, and the choice was made to have two flavors: strawberry cake and yellow cake, both with our signature white chocolate buttercream. The dotted swiss design complimented the gorgeous floral tiers. Perfect for an outdoor summer wedding. Angie expressed the desire to “knock it out of the park” with an extravagant cake for her fiancée. We did our best. It was an operating replica of his turntable-made of cheesecake-playing a chocolate replica LP of his favorite artist. We imbedded an MP3 player so the music was playing. A stack of edible records, and a chocolate football cake with his favorite team logo were surrounded by family photos making Brian’s cake presentation impressive!

lush and beautiful. Even in October, flowers were blooming in every direction around the wedding site. The table décor and floral arrangements completed the original aim…”Southern Elegance”!!

Camry had a cake design that she just loved. In fact, she had the idea since she was 17, many years before her wedding. Camry selected our yellow cake, some tiers with strawberry filling, some with raspberry filling and some with buttercream filling. The cake was covered in vanilla fondant with turquoise fondant swirls and pearls. Handmade edible sugar flowers in coral completed the décor. The colors coordinated beautifully with the floral arrangements. Her outdoor venue and the Sept 1st date were in perfect accord with the late summer beautiful weather.

cake stand. Her flavor was our sour cream pound cake with our signature white chocolate buttercream. David’s cake was yellow with Italian meringue buttercream. Dr. Who was there in spirit !
T.J. and Alan had decided upon a beautiful and vibrant color scheme. The gorgeous colors in the peacock feather décor inspired the hand painted design elements on their fondant covered cake. Their cake featured three flavors: carrot with cream cheese filling, strawberry with cream cheese filling, and yellow cake with Italian meringue filling. Their venue in Cookeville was mid-point for their family and guests traveling from both north and west Tennessee. We sent them on their honeymoon with cupcakes adorned with edible peacock feathers and pearls.
Gail’s childhood home was the venue for her wedding. She and Sam loved this beautiful pastoral setting and so did all their guests. They both loved our carrot cake , chocolate cake, and our pound cake. It was a hard decision and they chose our sour cream pound cake and Italian meringue buttercream. (We made sure they received carrot and chocolate cupcakes as a going away gift .) The hand molded and hand painted chocolate leaves seemed as if they could have drifted in from the surrounding trees. Sam cut slabs from wood to serve as the cake stand. He was surprised to see a heart shape in the wood. We all marveled at Mother Nature’s artistry!

and the cake and other desserts were on an elevated stage leaving plenty of room for dining and dancing.
