It was a beautiful day for a wedding at DelMonaco Winery in Baxter.  The ceremony was held down by the lake.  The guests and bridal party walked through the vineyard to the sounds of beautiful music by Renee, creator of Charmed Life Music. The bridesmaids were gorgeous in varied styles, all the same shade of gray dresses, with light blue accessories. They rocked beautiful black stiletto heels.  The brides mother was beautiful and her shoes were amazing. I going to call her to find out were she got those shoes! The reception was held inside and we got to speak with Clayton before the wedding. He was happy and excited to see his beautiful bride. Even though we did not get to see Megan, she was so so sweet to leave Spencer a birthday card at her cake table.  Talk about being thoughtful!!!  We were very touched.

Megan’s cake had two tiers of strawberry cake with white chocolate cream cheese icing and two tiers of yellow cake with strawberry filling and white chocolate cream cheese icing. All were covered with ice blue tinted vanilla fondant icing. A chocolate vine adorned with sugar flowers “grew” up the cake.

Clayton’s cake was carrot cake with white chocolate cream cheese filling covered with vanilla fondant.  The decor was their monogram and floating hearts.  Chocolate guitars signified Clayton’s own Cort guitar.

Today I am working on decorative pieces to go on Clayton’s grooms cake.  All I can say at this point is that it involves chocolate and monograms.  I am finishing up the dotted swiss decor on the cookie favors. The wedding is Saturday and pictures will follow.
