Addie and Troy’s Wedding Cake Pictures

Addie and her parents, Cheryl and Richard, came for her tasting.  They  are “transplants” from California and loving Tennessee. The cake Addie chose was our moist yellow cake and our signature white chocolate buttercream.  Addie selected a very pretty and modern cake design accented with red – so romantic! All the cake décor was edible including the rhinestones set into the middle of the handmade sugar flowers. Monogrammed cookies and Red Velvet whoopee pies completed their dessert table.  The venue was lovely and the cake and other desserts were on an elevated stage leaving plenty of room for dining and dancing.

Rochelle and Lance’s Unique Wedding Cake

Rochelle’s first visit to our shop was so enjoyable to us.  She was about a month away from graduation, studying for exams, home for the weekend planning her wedding. She had some definite ideas about the cake design and quickly decided upon ruffles. Ruffles, Rochelle wanted ruffles.  Not only ruffles but tall tall and ruffles.  We did our best to deliver her dream cake. Yellow cake and Italian meringue buttercream covered with pearlized vanilla fondant and fondant ruffles. The décor of the beautiful outdoor venue was elegance galore.  The table settings and floral arrangements were over the top gorgeous. This fabulous ruffled cake was in the perfect setting !

Katherine and Matt’s Too Pretty To Eat Wedding Cakes

They started a year in advance of their wedding planting and sowing an array of seeds to have a profusion of flowers surrounding their private lake.  And it was a sight to see.  The outdoor wedding at the bride’s parent’s home was absolutely beautiful.  This cake style perfectly showcased the flowers and was right on for a summer wedding. The flowers on the bride’s cake were picked from the lakeside by the floral designer. Katherine’s cake is our sour cream pound cake and Italian meringue buttercream with hand cut fondant lace décor.  Matt, a coach, had all his favorite teams represented on his chocolate cake.

Nick and April’s Too Pretty To Eat Wedding Cake Pictures

When we met Nick and April at her Dale Hollow Lake property for their initial tasting, we were awed by the magnificent view overlooking the lake.  We were elated to meet April’s mother, Nick’s mother and many other family members. This outdoor setting  was  superb  for April’s choice of this flower filled cake.  Dotted swiss design in Italian meringue buttercream on our sour cream pound cake. White chocolate dipped Tuxedo  strawberries surround the cake.  Nick’s chocolate groom’s cake clearly states:  I’m a VET and I graduated from Auburn!!

Will’s “44” chocolate cake with fondant was brushed with edible silver and had chocolate ammo for accent. And yes, it really did make his day.

Kelly and Grant’s Too Pretty To Eat Wedding Cake

We had a great time with  Kelly, Grant ,and Kelly’s mother, Teresa, at the cake tasting.  Teresa and I were wearing the exact same sweater, so having that in common we found many other commonalities!   They selected our sour cream pound cake with Italian meringue buttercream icing. The cake is a family recipe that I have used for many years and is one of our most often selected favorites.

Kelly loved our handmade sugar blossoms. She selected a soft peach color and we arranged all 15 dozen in a waterfall design. Their lovely church ceremony and reception was the essence of a southern wedding.  They had a sumptuous dessert buffet, a beautiful bride and a happy groom.

Racquel and Joshua’s Unique Wedding Cake

This vivacious bride and her vivacious MIL-to- be arrived for the cake tasting armed with photos and color swatches.  Love it when that happens! They first selected our yellow cake and Italian meringue buttercream as their favorite flavors.  Racquel selected a gorgeous color scheme.  The ribbon on each cake tier was the color of each of the bridesmaid’s dresses.  The guava colored fantasy flowers were the accent color for the cake and the table decor.  The icing design mimicked the pleating on her dress. The church wedding and reception was a complete sweet day with guests and family bringing a vast array of desserts for the reception.

Chelsea and John

Our tasting with Chelsea and John took place at their wedding planner’s office.  We had a great time selecting cake flavors and going over design elements that Chelsea wanted incorporated into the cake.  We sent them on their way with a selection of cake samples for Chelsea’s Mother.  Two days later, we received a resounding stamp of approval for our yellow cake with our signature white chocolate buttercream icing.

On a snowy January day we enter Chelsea and John’s venue to see a beautifully elegant and serene setting. The soft gold and silver décor coupled with greenery and snowflakes was the perfect setting for  their impressively tall  winter white cake .  The romantic swirls in the cake design and the sweet lovebirds’ topper expressed the peace and love of that day.
