Too Pretty To Eat

From the first time we met Lindsey and Cody at The Clark House in Livingston for their tasting we could tell we were going to have a great time planning their cakes. Lindsey, Cody and Laura all worked together so well with us to come up with designs and flavors that they were happy with. With the different size tiers and elaborate embroidery, Lindsey’s cake was elegant and had an impressive presence. The strawberry filled yellow cake featured white chocolate butter cream and vanilla fondant. Cody’s surprise Braves Jersey Groom’s Cake was a home run. It was chocolate cake with double chocolate filling featuring Chocolate Italian meringue butter cream and vanilla fondant  As beautiful as the setting is at the Clark House, Lindsey’s beauty out shown everything.  From her elegant jewel encrusted gown to the over the top floral arrangements, to the splendid front lawn ceremony setting, it was a day befitting a true Southern Belle.

We just love Whitney and Dustin. It’s not often that a groom-to-be makes us laugh, but Dustin has. He came to the tasting just positive he did not like Strawberry Cake and left amazed that not only did he like it, he loves it !! We have laughed so much about that mainly because he ate the samples with great gusto! Whitney liked it too and you will just have to be at the wedding to see what they finally selected. The wedding is in October at The Clark House in Livingston and we are so excited to be making their cake. No details until after the wedding !!
